SUPERVACUA

This images are part of my still unpublished project Supervacua. The title's name comes from Seneca, the Latin philosopher, in his writings about the superfluous objects that characterize our lives.

This project is about the realm of objects that surrounds us. This domain finds its expression in the redundancy of shapes and space whose images flow unobstructed breaking everything down to abstraction. Each object is the container for other objects and at the same time is contained in them. The representation of objects pervades us and the image is a complete experience in which we are immersed without self awareness. Are we the ones who create the objects or are they the ones who define us?
