Even though established in 1964, in 2013 was still the only facility of a kind for visually impaired children and teenagers around Afghanistan.

Even though established in 1964, in 2013 was still the only facility of a kind for visually impaired children and teenagers around Afghanistan. The school provide not only normal curriculum including general and Islamic education but also provide vocational training which should help students to find their active role in

society. 150 students attend lessons on daily basis, among which are 65 girls. The youngest is 6 years old.
