Trepça mines in Kosovo, are part of the project 'Living on the Edge', focuses in european cities with still evidence of divisions. Mitrovica is included in the project. These mines were the largest of the former Yugoslavia (about 20.000 workers during the 80’s). The miners from both communities (serbians and albanians) used to work together until before the war in 1999. Now they do it separately in two different mines of the city. Only the managers have some meeting to talk about the economic strategy of the company.
