Luján Agusti is a visual storyteller, National Geographic Explorer, and IWMF fellow currently based in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina.

Luján Agusti is a visual storyteller, National Geographic Explorer, and IWMF fellow currently based in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina.

She explores Latin American culture and identity with a gendered perspective, pushing the limits of her photographic documentary practice. Luján’s awards include World Press Photo’s 6x6 Global Talent Program of South America, WomenPhotograph and ONA grantee, Emerging Artist Scholarship of the Lucie Foundation, first prize of the Book Call of Encontros da Imagem, the Roberto Villagraz Fellowship (EFTI), and the Young Stimulus Prize of the ArtexArte Biennial.

Her work has been published in worldwide international media outlets and exhibited in China, India, Spain, Portugal, England, Canada, the United States, Mexico, Uruguay, and Argentina. She belongs to Prime Collective and Ruda Colectiva.
