There are many ways to built new worlds, one of them is traveling through the stories of people who lived and crossed them. Then destroy them, to go against the chronological order and give them a new sense, a new narration.

Guideline is a small village in Tosco-Emiliano Apennine, you can’t find it on maps. It is the place where my family lived and still lives and where I grew up. It is also one of the emblem of the partisan and Brazilian resistance during the Second world war.

Starting from these opposite events, the story becomes an occasion to reflect about collective and personal memories and about the kind of relationship between them.

Guideline invites the public to ask himself in which ways the personal experiences of those who are living in one place and the collective and historical experiences that belong to that place are talking each other and working together to built a new identity.
