"Under a New Sun"

Under a New Sun

We live in-between a yearn for two worlds: that which

we left behind and that which is about to come.

Every moment and every decision, is a turning point in

what seems to be perpetual process of becoming.

It could be said that we only get one chance for

something to be new and beyond there, everything

ends up being an evocation of the past.

In this array of images, José Castrellón finds himself

exhaustively revisiting the Maine of his youth,

of his coming of age as photographer

stumbling upon old friends and new strangers, through

several trips across the state that receives, before any

other, the new sun.
