Narrative Abstrahism

Filtered perception of the world around us...

Sometimes, when we spend some days or weeks in a specific place other than our home in a quite constant mood throughout that time, it seems as if there was this "filter" through wich we see the world around us. This filter is always different and unique, bound to this particular time and place as a result of many interplaying factors, such as our emotional state of mind, weather and light, the landscape and also the people we are surrounded by or interacting with during this period of time.

So in this series I tried to depict this filter, or rather the the perception of my environment through that specific filter, during my stay in Saint-Raphaël, France in summer 2019, whereas the silence was only the calmness before the storm which was about to break in.
