THE HARVEST

The project THE HARVEST is dealing with the financial industry and it‘s abstract business models. Starting from the industrie‘s vocabulary - like for example growth, increase, the proverbial peanuts - I develloped a visual language for still lives which translates the rather technical and prosaic processes into emotionally decipherable pictures.

The architectural images show headquarters and investment projects of the industrie's big players. The façades of the buildings work as a membran between society and the corporations. Via these membranes the companies comunicate their claim to power.

All the pictures of hands and faces shown in the project are cropped details from stock photos taken during pressconferences of CEOs and leaders of the financial industry.

THE HARVEST was published on the platform million books and launched during the Unseen Amsterdam Bookmarket 2019.
