I am interested in the passage of time reflected through the old businesses in the small towns of the Argentine Pampas. Many of these places still function as they used to 100 years ago, while others have had no option but to close; many have been demolished since. This is the last generation of old folk that is vanishing together with their beautiful shops and stores. These places go against the consumer culture, operating with their own set of values. They are the last ones standing.
