The times they are a changin'

After finding some old art books, I realized that I love the expressions of some of the women portrayed in the paintings, so peculiar and intense. I started thinking about how women's lives have changed over the centuries and I've tried to reinterpret some of my favorite works in a modern setting, with a focus and emphasis on contrasts. The photos are all designed and taken by me, using my Canon 6D and remote control via my smartphone. I am the subject of all the photos.
