Powder Blue

Unsuccessful in the roles thrust upon her, a woman attempts to drive her powder blue car into a wide expanse of sky. Instead, she lands against a lineup wall in a scrupulously sealed room with no windows and a single door painted over so that the cracks of light are covered.

Composed of fragmented prose and collage, Powder Blue’s unfolding portrait of a woman resists linear narrative. It favors instead her diffuse thoughts, loose connections, mental chatter, confessional moments and a sometimes disorienting collision of temporalities and spaces.
