Made directly in several libraries, Rebound Photo Poems is a series of photographs of various Buckram bound photography books. The works reflect our imaged world using the language of the titles printed on the book spines. The utilitarian design of the Buckram binding democratizes the words and allows the them to speak more purely - divorced from the original design of the book. The Buckram design also becomes a meditation of color-field aesthetics. With occasional humor, the photographs in Rebound Photo Poems also speak to the social and political issues of within the history of image culture.
