"MaTTour" is a project started in August 2019, after the latest Italian government crisis.

Matteo Salvini, leader of Italy's far-right League party, is the most talked-about politician in Europe and in the future could well be the most powerful. As Interior Minister, Salvini closed the ports to illegal immigration, reduced human trafficking and stared down the E.U. On larger issues like the economy and the direction of the country, it has been far tougher.

The most unconventional of the politicians manages the most unconventional of the campaigns, tens of rallies, speeches, energy, all captured live on social media, financed on a shoestring, with grit and determination. His slogan shouts: "Prima gli Italiani" (Italians first).

In the time the image of the League party leader, Matteo Salvini, has become stronger and stronger thanks to the use of social media. The use of christian symbols very important in the collective imagination, like the Rosary, the crucifix, uniforms, sweatshirts has a strong impact on people; he spends hours taking selfies and talking with his supporters. They feel comfortable with their Leader, they call him Matteo or Captain.

All this to re-launch the Italian right party and to make power-grab to run the Italians towards new elections to be able create a new government.

Thousands of people, supporters of Italy's far-right League party leader Matteo Salvini, partecipate in the gatherings organized in squares, theaters and countryside festivals.
