Breaking Borders is a photographic documentary and written essay, a first person account, investigation and testimony.

In january 2016, I travelled to Izmir (Turkey). I hooked up with a group of Syrian Palestinians and joined them in their attempt to cross the Aegean Sea to Greece.

By sharing their condition, I also shared their emotions, fear and anguish, but also countless moments of joy, laughter and hope.

I have been invited by the Ligue des Droits de l'Homme (LDH) and various local communities to give conferences and present the pictures of this work, for which I have written an unpublished essay.
