The Monuments series is marked by a constant search for the symbiosis between the spaces of the sculpture (the space volume and hollow sculptures), the architecture (the flowing space between inside and outside of the pedestals) and the landscape (the open space, unusual by unreal). They are images that do not obey clear and precise formulas, but fold to proposals that are discrepant by disregarding the real environment; the series tries to understand the sculptural space as a place of available communication, postulating many possibilities of relationship between the viewer and the deliberate absence of geographical reference, approaching the images to a fictional theatrical space where the gray tones and the suspended statues in the air accentuates the appearance of an imaginary Madrid.
