the Watering hole

The Watering Hole is a series of night photographs taken in Namibia's Etosha National Park. These rare nocturnal scenes are a contemplative approach to wildlife that may soon be extinct.

During July of 2016, I spent 20 days traveling around Namibia and in Etosha National Park I encountered these surreal nocturnal scenes of wildlife visiting watering holes. The dreamy aspect of the images reminds me of cave art that once documented wildlife that is currently extinct.
