Corpora Vivi is a project created during Archivio Atena residence for the enhancement and analysis of the territory of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Par. An image in the flesh. A god inside the image. In which sense then can images have the effectiveness attributed to them? That's the question the author asks herself in her research. The project initially follows the miracle attributed to Saint Ciro, focusing on a specific moment in which wheat, placed in a stoppello, was exchanged with an image of the saint, pronouncing the phrase "May Saint Ciro make it to you". The research inquires into the contaminations between folk and christian iconography in a process in which the author' photos taken with the photographic medium are flanked by pre-existing images collected by her during her stay.
