By lindsay perryman

Lindsay Perryman’s project, also released as a self-published zine, is a bold arrangement of portraits of African American masculine women in the LGBTQ community. The Colors We Don’t See at The End of The Rainbow highlights the importance of African American masculine women (studs), featuring them in the purest form imaginable. The work has been thriving ever since and has given hope to the LGBTQ people to be themselves and live life fearlessly. The photographs capture the bright personalities encountered during the photographer’s journey, eternalizing their everyday lives as beautiful parts of the community to be celebrated. The Colors We Don’t See At The End Of The Rainbow means the people we don’t see in the media.
