Yes, Lord, You Know That I Love You

A Christian church named Zion Church, in Batticaloa, Sri Lanka, was blown up on 21 April. The day was Easter. 31 people were killed by Muslim violence affected by IS. This was a terrorist attack aimed at blasting a series of Christian churches. More than 250 people have died in Sri Lanka as a whole.

One of the victims was a 7-year-old boy named Peter. That day, after Sunday school, he was caught in a blast while going to the bathroom. He was already dead when their family met him in the hospital.

When his parents were looking for a name in the Bible for their son, they found the name, Joshua. On a Sunday, the pastor came and said in front of them: "The Holy Spirit clearly says that the child in your womb will be named Peter."

According to the Bible, after Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected three days later, he appeared in front of his disciples. Peter was asked three times, "Do you love me?" and Peter replied, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you."
