Our soul might get damaged the same way as our body could. My interest was lying in how to portray mental injuries and visualize an internal elusive state. To express this, I started out with bruises which could represent an allegory of wounds in the spirit.

The 47 photos, installed in a cloud-form serve as each others contexts as well. Bruises on the bodies, broken scluptures, a bullet hole and the bloody ground of the scene of the Paris terror attack, communicate in an specific association net. Thus the series is moving away from the personal level and forming the work as a civilizational reflection, in which the focus is on the vulnerability of the post-human body.
