Eleonora Strano is a freelance photographer based in France.
She first studied Physics, then Linguistics and Photography in Paris and worked for two years as a linguistic attachée in Bangkok, Thailand.
In 2009 she won the EMI CFD International Photojournalism Prize and studied for 7 months at EMI CFD school in Paris.
For more than 10 years she has been working on themes linked to isolation. Whether it is geographical, cultural, social or political.
Her work has been shown in France, Italy, Germany, Cambodia and received awards.
It has been presented in June 2011 at le BAL in Paris, in a collective show "Se dérober" in Musée de la Photographie de Mougins in 2013 and, in Paris, at the Photography Fair “ La Quatrième Image” where it won the third prize.
In November 2018, she was nominated as one of the 31 women photographers to watch for according to the British Journal of Photography.
Last year, her work has been exhibited at Espace de l’Art Concret in Mouans-Sartoux, as part of a regional project called «Des marches, démarches» curated by FRAC PACA and this year she was part of Jeune Création in Romainville.
She regularly works for the medias and teaches Photography.
Eleonora Strano is a member of Hans Lucas, Women Photograph and Blink and works in the south of France.
