Erika Schultz works as a photographer and videographer for The Seattle Times and teaches as part-time faculty at The University of Washington.

Erika Schultz works as a photographer and videographer for The Seattle Times and teaches as part-time faculty at The University of Washington.

Schultz is an IWMF fellow, a Pulitzer Center grantee, and part of The Seattle Times’ 2010 Pulitzer Prize-winning team for Breaking News Reporting. Her stories have been recognized by the Edward R. Murrow Awards, The Alexia Foundation, and Casey Medals.

Her project, "Disappearing Daughters," reported with Corinne Chin, won a 2020 Online Journalism Award. Schultz co-founded NW Photojournalism and is a member of The Seattle Times’ Diversity and Inclusion Task Force.
