Designer, Illustrator And Art Director Of ZUM Magazine For Photography
Elisa von Randow (Brasil) is a designer and illustrator. She graduated in communication and media at UFMG and collaborates with the main publishers and cultural institutions of Brasil. For 6 years she has been the art director of ZUM magazine for contemporary photography, edited by Instituto Moreira Salles (IMS). The magazine expands the debate on photography, dialoguing with cinema, anthropology, literature, philosophy and fine arts. She participated in the curators and design teams of the exhibitions "Luigi Ghirri: pensar por imagens" (2014) and "Claudia Andujar: no lugar do outro" (early works) (2015). In 2018, she created the visual identity and catalog of the exhibition "Claudia Andujar: a luta yanomami" also at IMS. Elisa designed several Brazilian photo books, among which Ruy Teixeira's "O desenho da Utopia”, Patricia Gouvêa’s “Imagens Posteriores”, Araquem Alcântara’s "Amazonia”, and "Edmond Fortier: viagem a Timbuktu". She lives and works in São Paulo.
Elisa can evaluate the graphic aspects of your images and work. She can also provide with feedback and advice on the narrative construction of your photographic work.
