Dani Pujalte lives and works in Barcelona where he combines personal projects with commercial assignments. After the publication of Where Mimosa Bloom (Éditions du Lic) he coordinates with Rita Puig-Serra, the course of edition and production of photobooks in El Observatorio (Barcelona). His projects revolve around landscape exploration in ambiguous spaces as a tool to tackle cultural and social issues.
His works have been exhibited at MEAM, ENSP Arles, Lugano, Bibliothèque départementale de Marseille, Galerie Marseille Art Design, Spazio Nea, Atelier de Visu, Galeria Setba and FAD. He has been finalist of the 19th edition of the FotoPres grant and selected in Descubrimientos PhE’13. In 2015 he received the grant Antipodes Project Supported by RMIT Link Arts & Culture, participates in the itinerant project The Smell of Dust curated by Sue-Élie Andradé. Recently wons the 20ºedition of the grant Fotopres with Rita Puig-Serra to produce the work Good Luck with the Future.
