A story about plants and the people who work with them.

One in five plants is on the brink of extinction. The world's botanic gardens contain about a third of all known plants and help protect 40% of endangered species.

This project is a visual exploration of Chișinău's Botanical Garden: 104 hectares of flora and fauna that has been created in 1951. Built in the tradition of Soviet-style gardens, it is large and it has a focus on research. The space was designed to create a small scale mirror of Moldova's landscape.

It is the main botanical research institution in Moldova. With limited resources, it's sustained by the love for plants of the people who work here.
