With these photographs I am presenting my grandmother, the matriarch and oldest member of my family.

With these photographs I am presenting my grandmother, the matriarch and oldest member of my family. Still quite independent at the age of 86, she lives by herself in a single-story home that feels as if it were frozen in time. Luckily, mobility grants her the freedom to come and go where ever she pleases. Despite the fragility of her age she continues to live a full and happy life to the best of her capabilities. By photographing her I have witnessed not only the active lifestyle she has maintained but more importantly the positive qualities and light-hearted nature she embodies that makes her so wonderful and truly an inspiration.
