I live and work in London and have previously exhibited at Tate Modern, Firstsite and Leeds Art Gallery. My practice weaves connections between different eras of ritualistic practice and is informed by human and non-human technologies, specifically through the lens and fissures of the photographic medium. Previously my work has questioned the Anthropocene - the proposed commencement of significant human impact on the Earth's ecosystems - and our place within it. My work offers a detailed exploration of speculative ideas about cybernetic technology. Often esoteric and structured as allegorical fable, my practice blends histories and everyday rituals which seek to explore the undercurrents of fears, desires and unease.
