"The father of my father is not my grandfather" is a series of family album photographs digitally modified.
This series reflects the father and son relationship, usually left behind after the link created with the mother. It explores the meaning of images through time.
The nonexistence relationship between my dad and his dad was the starting point of this project. My father's father was replaces with tie fabrics, which playful and childish patterns evoke innocence and playfulness; present on the images, lost during his youth and recovered in the constitution of his own family. Comes full circle.
By that time they were happy.
Memory is the constant recreation of the past.
