Adelaide Di Nunzio was born in Naples (Italy) in 1978
She lives in Cologne and partly in Naples
She graduated at Academy of Arts in Naples and moved to Milan to attend the photography School “Richard Bauer”. She devoted herself to different genres of photography, from fine art photos to reportage. She is also a teacher of graphics and art of photography. Her reportages were published on Italian and international newspapers - Vanity Fair (Italy), Guardian (England), HP (Netherlands), Esta (Netherlands), Sunday Times (UK) etc - and she worked with many international photo agencies: grazianeri, parallelozero in Milan, getty images, and KNA in Bonn.
In 2011, she was winner of the photopgraphic "Contest 12x8 “- project funded by the European Union, for the realization of a report " Women Empowerment in Benin "– and the photographs that she made were presented at a solo exhibition at the museum P.A.N. in Naples and at the Academy Pavilion of the Venice Biennale, curated by Vittorio Sgarbi.
In 2013, she realized a solo exhibition “Gods and Goddesses at “Primopiano gallery” in Naples (Italy), at “Galeri Artist” Çukurcuma in Istanbul (Turkey) and at “Med Festival Photo”, in Catania (Italy).
In 2014 she realized a solo exhibition at the archaeological Museum of Locri (Italy).
In September 2016 she presented the second edition of the exhibition “Gods and Goddesses part II” at the art gallery “Arkè” by Mariateresa d’Agostino in Locri.
In October 2016, she presented the work “Unfinished -Criminal Architecture” in a solo exhibition at the art gallery “La Mediterranea “of Saverio Ammendola in Naples.
In 2017 she was part, together with the artist Xenia Imrova, of the exhibition “Auswege der Wirklickeit” curated by Martin Bochynek, at Capri Garage Association (Düsseldorf, Germany) of Susan Ristow,
In April 2018, she was selected to participate to “Portfolio Walk NRW Düsseldorf”, Photo German Academy of Hamburg.
In November 2018 she presented in a solo exhibition her new work “La pelle” at the art gallery “Galerie 21” in Cologne (Germany).
In April 2019, she presented the work “La Pelle” in a new solo exhibition at the International Foundation Casa Morra in the archive room “Mario Franco”, Naples, Italy curated by Valentina Rippa.
