Silence Beyond The Wall

Noise protection walls annoy us when driving on the highway. If you look at them from the other side, they become art installations in the landscape, hiding the reason for their being there and confronting us with what walls do, they leave the other sider in silence, beyond reach for us who stay on this side. A proliferation of walls due to the increasing roads that have a good purpose and, still, may be another sign for the times we are in.
