"LELO" (2019) is the result of a visual research and collaboration between photographer Olivia Malena Vidal and fashion designer Tina Schwizgebel-Wang. Together, they developed a new way of showcasing the clothes, in which the model and the clothes are shown in an equal manner and therefore can merge.

About the photographer:

Olivia Malena Vidal (1989) is a Swiss artist living and working between Geneva and Amsterdam. Her multilayered, interdisciplinary approach encompasses photography, painting, text, performance, video and sound. GUP Magazine selected her as one of the 2017 New Dutch Photography Talent. She received the Experimental Film Award from the Amsterdam Film Festival for her short film “The Lady on the bed” (2016), was shortlisted for the Athens Photo Festival and for the Artifact Prize 2018. Olivia Malena Vidal has produced photography work for many fashion designers, such as Lieke Penders, Stephen Piel, Laura Dubourjal, Sonia Oet, Yujin Jung, Isis Postel, Fi- lippo Disperati, Henjola Veldhoven, iNDiViDUALS, Eva Valdimarsdóttir, Daan Keizer, Marianna Ladreyt, Iris Woutera, Yoko Maja, Naomi Hille, Tatiana Quard, Yana Monk & Tina Schwizgebel-Wang.

Tina Schwizgebel-Wang (1990) is an interdisciplinary artist mainly working in the fields of fashion, drawing, etching, ceramics and tattooing. She recently won the CHLOÉ PRIZE at the 34th edition of the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Fashion accessories. Throughout the different techniques she works with, Tina captures specific moments in time, whether it be on a piece of paper or on a piece of skin.
