About Katie

Bio

(b. 1976, Sydney; lives and works in HK past 10 years ) Completed Bachelor of Arts - Fine Art (Major Photography) with distinction from HK Art School/RMIT in 2015. Katie has exhibited her work locally; at Fine Art Asia HK (2015), Solo show at AO Vertical (2016), Fresh Trend - HK City Hall (2016), Affordable Art Fair (2017), HK Arts Centre (2018) and Internationally ; at Art Miami (2015), The Indian & NZ International photo festivals (2017). Vajda was the winner of the HK Human Rights Arts Prize in 2014 and the HK Arts Festival Gold Award for photography in 2016. Interested in arts role in society, Katie took on the directorship of the HK Human Rights Arts Prize 2017 & 2018.
