Faces of Mexico

I have visited Mexico during a Spring Break while on my Semester Abroad in America. My parents forbade me to go and everyone advised me not to go alone. And to be honest, they were right to some extent. Mexico isn't really on the top of the list of a 21 year who doesn't speak a work in Spanish. With my blond hair and baby face, I don't exactly fit in the South American culture. However, once I got used to getting intensive stares once in a while, Mexico became one of my favourite destinations. This fear of travelling alone there is more a negative reflection of how the West is presenting the South American societies.
