The aim of this project is to strike deep thought and a conversation about Objectification as it happens in both male and female genders. It aims to be a guide for thinking about the way objectification permeates our society.

This project seeks to tell a story of objectification in both male and female genders. For women, the most pervasive form of objectification is where they are reduced only to sexual objects. For men, I argue that the most pervasive form of objection, occurs when they are reduced to instruments of utility. Each image in the series goes further into the conversation and creates avenues for reflection and maybe reformation.

WHEN WE ARE BORN I When we are born, we are without context; bare, waiting for external influences to shape our thoughts and unavoidably our lives.

THE WAY WE SEE I The conversation about the pervasiveness of objectification in the lives of both male and female genders is broken. Each gender seems to be trying to win the argument by showing that they are the most alienated by objectification. Unfortunately, this way, we ignore the other person's side of the conversation.

MY LOVER'S ASS AS A PILLOW This represents a space for positive objectification. It is a space where though a person is used as an instrument of sexual pleasure or utility; there is enough care and concern for the person's well being, that it does not lead to objectification.
