Aita and the sea

My father is very connected to the Cantabrian sea.

My father is very connected to the Cantabrian sea. Since I can remember, he wakes up at 5.00 in the morning every weekend to go fishing. He knows the most remote spots and where the biggest fish are. He climbs vertical cliffs and walks through gigantic ferms to get there.

In my family, we have never bought crabs, octopus, kiss-curls or bass fish, as my father would bring it straightaway from the sea.
